Postdoc Positions Available in the Tyler/Sleckman lab

Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the joint laboratory of Dr. Jessica Tyler (http://jesstylerlab.info) and Dr. Barry Sleckman at Weill Cornell Medicine. Projects are available to understand the maintenance of genomic stability, specifically by DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair pathways, the influence of epigenetics on DSB repair and transcriptional regulation around DSB breaks, using human tissue culture, mouse or budding yeast models. You will be working in a highly-productive, well-funded, vibrant, interactive, friendly and intellectually stimulating research group doing cutting-edge research.
The position is open to graduating Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. students and current postdoctoral fellows with less than three years of postdoctoral experience. High levels of critical thinking, strong technical skills and recent first author publications in high impact journals are required.
Candidates should have strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills in English. They should have the ability to work both independently and as part of our research team, a strong work ethic, and most importantly – intellectual curiosity and passion for biomedical research.
