Faculty Position in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology
The University of Chicago's Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology (http://mgcb.bsd.uchicago.edu) seeks to appoint a faculty member, preferably a tenure-track assistant professor, in molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, or related areas. Candidates using quantitative biology approaches or asking evolutionary questions in molecular or cellular biology are encouraged to apply. The appointee will strengthen and diversify a collegial and highly collaborative department whose members use a variety of model organisms to address fundamental issues in the life sciences. A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree is required.
