Lecturer in General Biology

The Biological Sciences Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago is accepting applications for a full-time position as Lecturer beginning on September 1, 2018, with an initial term of three years, renewable. The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching 8 lecture and/or laboratory courses for biology majors and non-majors. Expected course topics include introductory cell biology, genetics, developmental biology, and molecular biology for biology majors and general introductory biology for non-majors. The position includes responsibility for hiring, training and supervising teaching assistants. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the biological sciences and at least two years teaching experience in a college or university setting.
